Springbackers
From 30 May to 2 June 2026, Springback partnered with DOKS to attend West Coast Stage in Mölndal and Göteborg, Sweden. The project, entitled ‘Dance Navigation: Skills for Writers, Thinkers and Connectors’, consisted of practical workshops on ‘word generation’ from dance and on the ‘dramaturgy of language’ as ways through which both readers and the writers themselves can navigate relationships with dance.

They include short-form performance reviews, a self-directed freestyle response to one of the performances (Maria Naidu’s On and On and On On and On), and writing exercises about sampling the movement of the world, and transforming the moving image of film into words.
