Springbackers
A co-publishing agreement between Mobius Theatre PR and Springback, for four short texts on the subject of performance and communications.
Springback editor Sanjoy Roy was tasked to choose the theme, write one text, and commission and edit three texts from Springback contributors.
The theme ‘Critical Distance’ was a way to bring differences of perspective together. The texts were published first on the Mobius website, and a week later on Springback Magazine. Publication fees were shared equally between Mobius and Springback.
The four texts are:
Crossing lines / crossing currents – navigating the vested interests between artists, agents, venues, editors and writers
Breaking cover – on writing about dance as an insider to the field
Europe, seen from its east – is eastern Europe the ‘little sister’ in the critical family?
An outsider inside – on writing about dance as an outsider to the field
