Bas Blaasse is a Brussels-based writer, editor, and researcher working at the intersection of contemporary art, performance, and philosophy. His essays and criticism focus on how artistic practices relate to questions of collectivity, perception, and ecology, and appear regularly in publications on art and visual culture. Trained in philosophy and photography, he received the 2023 C/O Berlin Talent Award in Theory and develops long-term research on collective artistic practices.
