  • Sendi Sotlar (born Bakotić) is a theatre maker, performer, and artistic director of the Igralke Collective in Rijeka, Croatia. She holds an MA in Comparative Literature, Russian Language and Literature (University of Zagreb and Saint Petersburg State University) and a BA in Acting and Media (University of Rijeka). Her socially engaged devised and documentary works have been presented at international festivals such as Zürcher Theater Spektakel, Theatertreffen-Stückemarkt, and Bitef, earning several awards. Since 2020, she has also worked as a healthcare clown with Red Noses Clowndoctors. She co-curates the Zoom and Igralke festivals of performing arts and occasionally writes performance art reviews for kulturpunkt.hr.
