Róisín is a dance artist, writer, and producer from Edinburgh, Scotland, currently based in the US. Since being selected for Springback Academy in 2016, Róisín has regularly contributed to Springback Magazine and worked on other exciting projects within the larger Aerowaves family. She has also been published in The Guardian, Fjord Review, The Skinny and Seeing Dance, and has written programme notes for Scottish Ballet, Scottish Dance Theatre and Elisabeth Schilling.
As a choreographer, her work has been shown in London and across Scotland, as well as more recently selected for festivals across the Midwest region in America. She currently performs with New Industry Dance, teaches contemporary and creative dance, and is a qualified yoga teacher. As a freelance arts producer, she has worked with DanceLive and Manipulate festivals, and alongside independent artists.
